Bellydance Tribute: Oum Kalthoum

Oum Kalthoum is known as the Star of the East. More than three decades after her death, she is still recognized as one of the Arab world's most famous and distinguished singers of the 20th century. Oum Kalthoum has been a significant influence on a number of musicians, both in the Middle East and beyond. Egyptian music star Ahmad Berjaoui has assembled this compilation of classic Kalthoum tracks that have been remixed and re-imagined for both the world music fan and bellydance enthusiast.
