Kazem Al Saher: Habibati Wal Matar

Kazem Al Sahir is the Iraqi superstar that remains on top out of sheer quality of performance. Charismatic and good-looking, his smooth voice is emotive even if one does not understand the lyrics. A traditionalist by nature, he remains true to his roots, which have prevented him from having as extensive a Western audience as other Arab acts have achieved...but this has endeared him with his core Middle Eastern audience. This album stands as one of his best efforts to date.
